Katie was first exposed to yoga by her parents, as a young girl. The seed was planted, but bloomed later in life.
Katie began her practice and love of yoga 15 years ago to complement her other physical activities. She soon learned the profound effects that yoga had on her mental health. With a love for the calming, healing effects of yoga and meditation, she deepened her practice with two certifications in Integrative Therapeutic Yoga. Katie is currently nearing the completion of her 500Level Brahmrishi Integrative Yoga Therapy Certification.
Katie’s classes create an environment for the students to enjoy and explore themselves on all levels. By moving with awareness and breath, she incorporates therapeutic moves with asana. The student is then free to experience their own true self and harmony.
