Katie was first exposed to yoga by her parents, as a young girl. The seed was planted, but bloomed later in life.
Katie began her practice and love of yoga in the 1990's to complement her other physical activities. She soon learned the profound effects that yoga had on her mental health. With a love for the calming, healing effects of yoga and meditation, she deepened her practice with two certifications in Integrative Therapeutic Yoga beginning in 2012. Katie also completed her 500Level Brahmrishi Integrative Yoga Therapy Certification in 2017 along with Reiki certifications.
Katie’s classes create an environment for the students to enjoy and explore themselves on all levels. By moving with awareness and breath, she incorporates therapeutic moves with asana. The student is then free to experience their own true self and harmony.
