Kris Radzanowski, Owner

Kris found yoga after 20+ years in corporate sales and management roles. Yoga helped her decompress and focus on what really mattered in life, her husband and 2 young kids.

She saw yoga as something very special, healing, and the next path in her journey. She became a CYT-200, then continued her education for training as a CYT-500 Yoga Therapist.

Her husband, Tom, can be found at the studio often building, creating and fixing things. They have 2 kids, 2 horses and a doodle dog 😉

Here's how Kris wants you to feel about EssentialZen:

It was early 2000’s and I was teaching yoga at a variety of places in Northeast Ohio. I loved certain things about each place and wished I could change ways of doing business. I longed for something that just ‘felt right’.
In 2015 the opportunity presented itself to open a space to create what’s now loved as EssentialZen Yoga Studio. I felt like Goldilocks, with each step making sure everything was just right, not too much this or too much of that. I set out to grow a community that was welcoming and inclusive, that didn’t have a pretense.

We’ve built a place of warmth and love that feels like family. It is a space that is clean and calming, a community of caring teachers; staff and clients that want you to find a love for yoga and find the little (and big) ways to take your yoga off the mat and into your world. Our styles and exceptional teachers bring authenticity to each class they teach, care to each student they interact with, and a beautiful place that beckons you back often.

We hope you fall in love with yoga, the space that is called EssentialZen, and become part of our story.
